At Science Foundation Ireland we are developing our new organisational strategy for the period 2020 to 2025, replacing Agenda 2020 when it expires. In 2018 we engaged in an extensive consultation process with the intention of gathering feedback in relation to our current activities, along with constructive commentary on how we can build on strengths and tackle weaknesses and challenges. We held focus groups with researchers, students, higher education institutions, other funding organisations, government agencies and the public to hear how we can better support research for Ireland’s economy and society.
