For Science Week 2022, meet BODY, a new immersive outdoor installation exploring human biology through light, sound, and fire.
Inspired by anatomical science, BODY is an outdoor immersive journey through six different zones, mixing human biology with light, special effects, sound and fire. In 2020 and 2021, inventor Richard Babington and Walk the Plank’s team of ever-creative explorers turned their attention to the human body: a place of peril that can be invaded by a virus, but also be a place of wonder and enquiry. Using cutting-edge technology to create a deeper understanding of the science of the human form, BODY has been designed to inspire young and curious minds and offers a range of options for educational engagement in STEAM subjects.
Running over four nights, BODY makes it's Dublin debut in Merrion Square for Science Week 2022. Supported by Science Foundation Ireland, visitors are invited to visit this free event that aligns with Science Week's theme of Infinite Possibilities.
BODY is fully wheelchair accessible, should you have queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
Tickets are free of charge. Pre-booking strongly encouraged.
