Arigna Mining Experience in Co. Roscommon was established to preserve and protect the 400 year mining history of the Arigna Valley. All our tour guides are ex-miner's who share their first hand experiences of working underground. The mine is level entry and is fully accessible. The SFI/ DPSM workshop in the Centre will explore ways in which people use the earth's resources and will explore the themes of energy past, present and future.
