Dublin Zoo's 70-acre park is home to some 600 animals in an environment where education and conservation combine for an exciting and unforgettable experience. The education department is staffed by experienced; professional teachers and can cater for learners of all ages and abilities. Programmes and workshops offered embrace the skills and objectives of the SESE and Maths curricula and participating schools carry out a range of science activities in the Zoo classroom and are encouraged to undertake additional explorative projects.
