Research Brazil Ireland

Research Brazil Ireland (RBI) brings together Irish third-level institutions and research centres as a consortium to drive a coordinated national approach to promote Ireland’s scientific and technological reputation in Brazil and to highlight Ireland’s attractiveness as an international research partner. The programme develops research and educational links between the two countries across five thematic areas:

  • Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
  • Environmental Science and Technologies
  • Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology
  • Biopharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Health
  • Sustainable Energy and Agroproduction

The Irish institutions involved in RBI are Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Dundalk Institute of Technology, NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin,University College Cork, University of Limerick, and Waterford Institute of Technology.
