Technology Innovation Development Award Programme (TIDA) 2011 Entrepreneur Training Course
Applications are invited from postdoctoral researchers in active SFI funded research groups to attend the TIDA 2011 entrepreneurship training course. The TIDA 2011 entrepreneurship training course will take place at the DCU Ryan Academy for Entrepreneurship located at the Citywest campus in Dublin. The course consists of the following modules:
- Introduction to Technology Entrepreneurship
- Market Feasibility & Exploratory Research
- Managing Legal Aspects of Start-Ups
- Technology Assessment & Commercialisation Opportunity
- New Product Development and Innovation
- Venture Capital & Funding Models
- Finance and Cash Flow
- Intellectual Property, Trade Marks and Copyright
- Sustainable Competitive Advantage and Positioning
- Technology Sales
- Marketing, Branding and Bringing it all Together
- From Lab to Product: Elevator Pitches & Competition

IMPORTANT: All awards will be supplemental awards and will be issued to the original SFI award holder.
