2017 marks the second year of the Kerry Science Festival, a week-long festival taking place across Kerry this November. A programme of free events including our STEM Showcase Day, Careers in STEM Roadshow, Community Talks, School Shows, Workshops and Quizzes are taking place celebrating science in Kerry. Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) are alive and well in Kerry.

The Kerry Science Festival offers all interested in learning about STEM the opportunity to engage with science in different ways during festival week, with many free and fun workshops and shows aimed at primary and post primary school students as well as some at adults. The festival will also include a series of industry and community group led events demonstrating how STEM is used across Kerry.

The Kerry Science Festival is an Institute of Technology Tralee initiative and was developed by a team representing education and industry interests across STEM from the Kerry area, funded by Science Foundation Ireland with the support of local enterprises and agencies.
