Dr. Jordan joined as Scientific Programme Manager in August 2007. Dr. Jordan joins SFI from Hewlett Packard, where he worked in laser applications, managing external research collaborations as well as bringing projects from concept through to production.
Dr. Jordan holds a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from DIT Kevin Street and completed his PhD in Pulsed Laser Deposition Processes at Trinity College Dublin in 1997. Following his PhD he joined IBM’s Storage Systems Division where he worked on laser processing of magnetic recording media.
